“Today, there is absolutely nothing for you to worry about… know that you can depend on God.” – Until Today
Yesterday was a challenging day. The person putting our air conditioning in was extremely unpleasant, disrespectful and possibly mentally unstable. But he was the only guy I could afford. He was mean to both me and my wife. He was working and cussing until 11pm, but he finally got the house cold. It took every ounce of my program, and asking for strength from God constantly, not to lose it on him, but I stayed the course to get the house cool. Both my wife and I suffered PTSD from the episode and this morning I backed into her car with minor damage, but still. I was unnerved. Life happens and, yes, sometimes it’s not pretty. But it’s time to let go and focus on gratitude now. I have a house to stay in. I have a car to drive. I have a wife and kids that love me. I’m in good health and have enough money to pay my bills. When I really think about it, I am one of the luckiest, happiest, and most abundantly overpaid guys in the world and, regardless of a few temporary difficulties that I have to walk through occasionally … ILML!
